The JBL Libra 500 is a 500 W mixer amplifier for commercial sound — paging, programme playback, and outdoor or indoor distributed PA. Paras Pro Audio lists DriveCore amplification (Crown), a fanless chassis, and both low-impedance (4 Ω / 8 Ω) and 70/100 V barrier-strip outputs with a touch-proof cover. Multiple inputs cover speech, music, and paging. A preamp/line output can feed additional Crown amplifiers when a venue needs more power. The amplifier runs from 240 V AC or 36 V DC; DC output is specified at least 50% of rated power for outdoor or backup use. USB playback is included. Rated power is 500 W at 4 Ω (THD 10%, 240 V AC, 1 kHz).
