The VAL audio WCX15L-500 is an advanced 15″ two-way coaxial line array speaker, meticulously engineered for all-weather reliability and superior audio performance. Its cabinet is constructed from a specialized polymer compound through injection moulding, providing exceptional resistance to UV radiation, dust, and wind. The speaker is equipped with custom-designed dustproof and waterproof covers for both input and output connections, along with a sophisticated five-layer grille that ensures effective prevention of water and dust ingress. It meets the rigorous IP56 standard for weatherproofing. Exposed metal components are crafted from high-grade stainless steel or aluminium, chosen for their durability and resistance to corrosion, while the mounting bracket is treated with a low-carbon steel coating to ensure resilience against the elements. The WCX15L-500 features a powerful 15″ ferrite mid-bass driver and a coaxially mounted 3″ voice coil high-frequency driver, integrated into a precisely engineered 60° x 25° waveguide for optimal sound dispersion and clarity. Its versatile design allows the WCX15L-500 to be utilized as a standalone speaker or in arrays of up to four units, with the option of additional flying hardware for flexible installation configurations.
