Versatile sound reinforcement for the Universal Temple sabhagriha and Swami Shivanand Sabhagrah — spiritual discourses, devotional music, and lecture programmes for up to 900 attendees near Dandekar Bridge.
Case notes
Ramakrishna Math Pune's Universal Temple on Sinhagad Road near Dandekar Bridge houses a main sabhagriha seating approximately 450 devotees and the Swami Shivanand Sabhagrah in the basement with capacity for 400 more — together hosting spiritual retreats, satsangs, scriptural lecture series, and devotional music programmes that define the Math's educational mission. Sai Enterprises AV Solutions engineered sound systems for both halls with very different acoustic characters: the ground-floor sabhagriha with its marble finishes and open mandap layout, and the basement sabhagrah with wood-wool ceiling absorption. Line-array and point-source loudspeakers deliver even coverage without visually intruding on the temple architecture, while sub-low reinforcement supports bhajan and classical music programmes. Gooseneck and wireless microphones serve swamis and guest lecturers at the dais. A central rack with DSP processing, amplification, and scene presets lets Math staff recall settings for discourse, music, or combined programme formats. Devotees in every row hear clearly — whether following a Marathi upanishad exposition or a Sant Jnaneshwar memorial lecture series.
